Exhibition From London With Love in Wanha Woimala (Jyvaskyla, Finland) curated by Nastja Ronkko around the theme of souvenir.
Jyvaskyla Monochromatic Postcards consist of a series of transparent Perspex sheets with text written on the reverse. They are displayed differently around the interior of the exhibition space according to their content.
The texts, which are descriptions of representative images of the area where the show takes place, were obtained from the inhabitants of Jyvaskyla. These responses contain personal and communal elements (sites, objects, names, stories, actions…) in order to engage the audience with a new experience of the surrounding area.
